Contrà´le technique
This small, budget hatchback is nothing if not easy to drive, but if you feel like wringing more power out of the 1.6-litre engine, you're rewarded with a whine that will quickly put you off trying. The Liana does offer a decent level of equipment, particularly in GLX form, but there are plenty more appealing competitors in this market - they may be a shade more expensive, but you will derive much more enjoyment and satisfaction from them in the long run. This is very basic motoring.
Points positifs
- Inexpensive for a Focus-sized family hatchback
- New prices are usually discounted
- 1.6 16v engine is lively and very reliable
|
Points negatifs
- Tends to depreciate rapidly
- Suffers from lack of image; quite hard to resell
- Rivals are more refined and ride more smoothly
